Skalvi understands the importance of language, especially during a child’s growing years which lead us to incorporate a path-breaking initiative called SKALVI into the curriculum. SKALVI stands for Speech, Knowledge, Application, Language, Voice and Intonation. helps children to learn various nuances of a language with emphasis on pronunciation, diction, proficiency, phonetics etc.
Playway @ SKALVI Skalvi Playway Learning : SKALVI introduces children to the world of knowledge which enables children to understand, develop and enhance their learning. SKALVI PFL uses specially designed games, stories, rhymes and digital content providing a child an enriching learning experience.
Toys @ SKALVIThere is a toy library which gives children access to carefully selected learning based toys to take home and play. These toys are age appropriate and aim is to develop skills like logical reasoning, abstract thinking, aesthetic skills, visual perception, analytical reasoning and critical thinking in a child. They are exploring, wondering, making connections, and laughing while learning.
Fitness @ SKALVI Skalvi Gym provides quality fitness training to children of various age groups. We use various fun equipments like trampoline, ball pools, foam mats and fun obstacle courses to keep a child active and fit. We record child’s progress and conduct a fitness test every 10-12 weeks for flexibility and endurance.
Little homework and less time in class rooms @ SKALVI In Skalvi, there is statistically a lot less homework. According to the Skalvi education ideology, quality time spend in school is more than sufficient for the learning process to complete. And furthermore, Skalviates statistically spend a lot less time in class rooms than children in other schools. This leaves time for children to be children, and to enjoy their free time. For overall development it’s important to let the brain rest and allow time for other things.
At Skalvi students are encouraged to think, understand and look for information by themselves. They are even encouraged to find questions and then, answers are sought out together. They learn to take responsibility of their learnings through self motivation.
